The Blackmores Institute is hosting two free, CPD accredited Pharmacist masterclasses, in Adelaide and Perth with respected pharmacist Bobby Mehta, to learn how to use the new Blackmores Integrative Prescribing Guide in clinical practice.
The face-to-face workshops will provide an opportunity for pharmacists to understand the benefits of implementing an integrative approach to prescribing, and learn a step-by-step approach to developing an integrative management plan.
The clinically focused evenings will be hosted and delivered by Bobby Mehta, over a healthy dinner, followed by an exclusive Q&A session to aid pharmacists in applying the guidelines within their own practice.
Up to two CPD Group 2 credits are available to attendees.
“This is an ideal opportunity to explore case studies to assist in gaining confidence with recommending complementary medicines,” said Gill McEwen, Blackmores Institute National Education manager.
A case study approach will be used to illustrate steps pharmacists can take to offer an integrative and holistic approach to pharmacy healthcare advice.
These events will be held on the following dates and locations:
6:00 pm registration, and 6.45 – 9 pm masterclass presentation and dinner
Monday 23 October, Plant 4 Bowden, Bowden, SA
Tuesday 24 October, Pagoda Resort and Spa, Como, WA
