Highlights from the 2nd bioceuticals research symposium

Sugar rush link to cancer High sugar diets and unchecked insulin resistance may be a contributing factor to cancer, according to a world renowned naturopathic oncology expert.  US Integrative & Preventative Medicine practitioner and cancer survivor, Dr Lise Alschuler from Arizona, was in Australia this week presenting research to delegates at the 2nd BioCeuticals® Research Symposium under the theme of Unravelling 21st Century Epidemics, which was held at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth Hotel.  Co-author of 'The Definitive Guide to Cancer: An Integrative Approach to Prevention, Treatment and Healing', Dr Alschuler says there is mounting evidence  to link insulin resistance and cancer.
