Blackmores Institute was proud to participate in the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society 51st Annual Congress in Kuala Lumpur on 26-28 April attended by 700+ pharmacists, where the new Silver CMEd program for healthcare professionals was launched.
The award-winning, CPD-accredited Complementary Medicines Education (CMEd) program, which has graduated over 600 Malaysian pharmacists since 2017 and is available in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Pakistan. The new, intermediate, Silver course is designed to support those who have successfully completed the Bronze level to further their learning about complementary medicine.
“Blackmores Institute’s CMEd program helps healthcare professionals stay up-to-date on the evidence, efficacy, safety and quality of natural medicine and its effective integration with other modalities,” said Dr Braun.
“CMEd fills a knowledge gap for many pharmacists, with the education supporting them to advise on complementary medicines with more confidence. We are delighted to be able to build on the success of the first program with CMEd Silver which offers additional insights to allow pharmacists to learn even more about complementary medicines” Dr Braun continued.
Like the original CMEd ‘Bronze’ course, pharmacists who complete the CMEd ‘Silver’ course earn CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points.
