The Cochrane library of evidence-based research contains over 53,000 randomised controlled trials and 580 reviews on CM or CAM according to Ms Liesl Blott, speaking at the inaugural Blackmores Institute Symposium held in Sydney on 25-26 July 2014. “Evidence-based practice is an approach to decision-making where you use the best evidence but you also take into consideration the specific patient and the patient’s needs,” said Ms Blott, “It’s trying to get the best outcomes for an individual patient".
